Parent Reflection on Blog

Wow!!  Looking through Chad's GLO Portfolio, I can see a year's worth of effort and growth.  Even though I knew about individual projects that were assigned and worked on, I couldn't see the scope, sequence, and depth of learning:  How each assignment incorporated content knowledge, media skills, and general learner outcomes; but together, it helps make meaning for the student.  Chad saw this portfolio assignment as just another assignment (a pain in his side.).  Now, as I/he looks through, I hope he sees it as a culmination of his hard work; but, more over, an inspiration of what is yet to come.  It is like taking each piece of cut glass, placing it down, and then panning out to see how all the pieces together reveal an intricate mosaic design.  This portfolio really showcases Chad's progress in MeneMac.  It is something he can be proud of.
